The Humane Society of Charlotte is dedicated to providing the highest level of programs, resources, services, and care to our community; as well as offering a wide range of services to help people and their pets. There are many ways that volunteers can get involved including:

By joining North Meck Animal Rescue’s team of dedicated volunteers you will experience the rewarding opportunity of caring for homeless animals. Volunteers must be 18 to work inside the shelter but there are still many opportunities to help out if under 18.

It is an extremely rewarding experience to work with our riders. Some individuals Volunteer to meet community service requirements for school, while others want to gain horse experience, socialize with new-found friends, or simply for the fulfillment of helping others. No matter what volunteer activity you wish to pursue, Shining Hope Farms provides a wonderful opportunity to help out the community. All volunteers must have insurance and be at least 13 years old.
