Kids

The mission of Beds for Kids is to provide beds and essential furniture to children and their families in need. Volunteers in our warehouse can be as young as 11-15 with a parent present and volunteers 15+ can come on their own. Our volunteer activities depend on the needs of the particular day, but likely include delivering furniture to local families, assembling furniture, moving, organizing, and cleaning furniture. Or, you can organize a sheet drive on our behalf on your own time!

At ourBRIDGE, students receive homework help, participate in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering , Arts and Math) projects, and engage in a culturally relevant curriculum that emphasizes experiential learning. Volunteers must be 17 years or older and screened before volunteering.
