Habitat for Humanity Greater Harrisburg

Carlisle/Harrisburg

Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area depends very heavily on volunteer engagement. We operate with a very small staff and our work could not be completed without the generous donation of time by our volunteers. The ReStore is no different: we rely on our volunteers for everything from collecting donations, testing, cleaning, and merchandising product, and loading customer purchases. Must be 16.

Midwest Food Bank

Middletown

We have many opportunities for students to help with our mission. From labeling cans, making boxes, doing paperwork, etc., we will find something for them to do! If a kiddo is under the age of 14, we would like if a parent would be available to chaperone. We’ve had children as young as 5 years old help with labeling cans and loved it!

Midwest is a faith based organization and it our mission to share the love of Christ by alleviating hunger and malnutrition locally and throughout the world and provide disaster relief, all without discrimination. With a staff of 3, we rely heavily on volunteers to help with our mission (we operate on a 1% operating budget)
