When you volunteer with the American Red Cross, you’re supporting one of the largest humanitarian organizations in the world and making a positive impact on your peers and in your community. You can also maximize your talent, learn new skills, improve your resume, and meet new people – all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Habitat for Humanity Greater Harrisburg

Carlisle/Harrisburg

Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area depends very heavily on volunteer engagement. We operate with a very small staff and our work could not be completed without the generous donation of time by our volunteers. The ReStore is no different: we rely on our volunteers for everything from collecting donations, testing, cleaning, and merchandising product, and loading customer purchases. Must be 16.

Statistics show the youth volunteers of today will be the adult volunteers of tomorrow. The Volunteer Center has a wide range of programs geared towards introducing youth to volunteerism. We work with individual students and youth service groups.
