A Million Thanks

Raleigh/Wake Forest

We are asking individuals, schools, churches, businesses, and other organizations to write letters and messages of appreciation and support for our military, past and present. It is our goal to see that our military – active, reserve, and veterans – receive these messages, whether they are serving at home, abroad, or are recovering in hospitals. Read the guidelines, write your letters and then mail them to the A Million Thanks National Mail Intake Facility OR bring them to the drop-off location in Raleigh or Wake Forest.

Operation Gratitude

Wake County

Whether you want to write letters, knit scarves or make bracelets, there are opportunities for all ages.

Wreaths Across America

Various Local Cemeteries

Join us on National Wreaths Across America Day.
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. Volunteer to place veterans’ wreaths at a participating cemetery near you.
